Ingredients:
- 2 handfuls of rolled oats
- 2 handfuls of mixed nuts
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- chocolate chips (adjust to taste)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 160°C and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the oats, chopped nuts, chia seeds, and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
- In a small saucepan, melt the honey and coconut oil over low heat, stirring occasionally until they’re thoroughly combined and runny.
- Pour the honey mixture over the oat mixture and stir until everything is coated.
- Spread the mixture out onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
- Bake for 25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even baking. The granola should be crispy and fragrant when done.
- Remove from the oven and let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Once cooled, stir in the chocolate chips if desired.
- Store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
