Healthy Homemade Apple Pie Granola

This is the best fall granola loaded with sweet apple chunks, crispy nuts, and oats, covered with a glaze of honey and a delicate touch of cinnamon. Apple Pie Granola is a quick-and-easy to make breakfast with seasonal flavours.

Healthy Homemade Apple Pie Granola

TIME: 10 minutes preparation and 25 minutes baking | SERVINGS: 8

Ingredients:

  • 150g rolled oats 
  • 100g mixed nuts
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 big sweet apple

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 165°C and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel the apple and chop into small pieces.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture out on the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even baking. The granola should be crispy and fragrant when done.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet.
  7. Store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 to 2 weeks.
